There are three main categories of magnesia-calcium bricks: magnesia bricks, calcium bricks and magnesia-calcium bricks. Among them, magnesia brick is a material whose main component is transparent or translucent granular crystals or crystals. Calcium brick is a material whose main component is transparent or translucent short columnar or small needle-shaped crystals. Magnesia-calcium bricks are made of magnesia bricks and calcium bricks mixed in a certain proportion.

As a common refractory material, magnesia-calcium bricks have the following characteristics. Magnesia-calcium bricks have a lighter specific gravity and smaller mass. Magnesia calcium bricks have excellent fire resistance and wear resistance. Magnesia-calcium bricks also have good elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient.

Magnesia-calcium bricks are commonly used in the manufacture of refractory materials such as high-temperature sintering furnaces, furnace walls, electrolytic cells, blast furnaces, and electric furnaces. They can also be used in the linings, furnace doors, furnace roofs, wall panels, and bottoms of various high-temperature industrial furnaces. It can also be used for lining various thermal equipment and industrial kilns in metallurgy, glass, ceramics, cement, electric power, environmental protection and other industries.

In order to extend the life of magnesia calcium bricks, correct maintenance methods should be adopted. The furnace temperature control must be stable to avoid excessive sintering, otherwise it will affect the life of the bricks. Avoid slight or excessive shock or vibration. It should be kept dry to avoid damaging it in prolonged periods of moisture.
