Products Description
Refractory magnesia chromium brick is a high-quality, high-performance material mainly made of magnesium oxide and chromium oxide. It has excellent fire resistance and can withstand chemical substances, acid and alkali corrosion and mechanical impact in high temperature environments. Because of the special properties of this material, it is widely used in many industries such as steel, machinery manufacturing, chemical industry, metallurgy and light industry.
The density of refractory magnesia-chrome bricks is usually between 2.9-3.1g/cm³, which is relatively light. Its flexural strength is very high, usually between 50-70MPa. The material has very strong heat resistance and can be used in high temperature environments for a long time. The maximum operating temperature can reach 1800°C.
The main components of this material are magnesium oxide and chromium oxide, as well as other auxiliary components. It has a high oxide content and can effectively resist chemical attack. The content of each chemical component has certain requirements. For example, the content of magnesium oxide is usually above 85%, and the content of chromium oxide is usually between 10-15%.

2. Non-ferrous metallurgical industry
The non-ferrous metallurgical industry is mainly used in the smelting of light metals, such as magnesium, titanium, etc.; as well as in the fields of casting and machinery manufacturing. In these fields, magnesia-alumina bricks can be used for the lining of high-temperature equipment such as vacuum furnaces, linings, smelting furnaces and electromagnetic induction furnaces. At the same time, it can also be used for heat insulation and heat preservation in industrial environments such as high-temperature reactors and glass kilns.
3. Cement industry
The cement industry is a very common application field for magnesia-chromium bricks. It is mainly used as lining materials in important equipment such as cement kilns and rotary kiln auxiliary combustion chamber linings, collapse plates and tail smoke chambers. The excellent corrosion resistance and high fire resistance limit temperature of this material can effectively extend the service life of high-temperature ball mills, rotary kilns and other equipment.
4. Chemical industry
The chemical industry is another important application area of magnesia-chromium bricks. In high-temperature furnaces and reactors in petrochemical, metallurgy, fertilizer, chlor-alkali and other industries, high-strength, high-corrosion and high-corrosion-resistant materials are required for lining. Magnesia-alumina bricks have the above characteristics, such as oil converters, cracking furnaces, chlor-alkali equipment, sulfuric acid converters, etc.
