1. Sliding gate set
Good thermal shock stability and wear resistance are the first choice requirements for refractory materials for sliding nozzles. And sintered tabular alumina just can meet its requirements. At present, adding appropriate amount of graphite (or carbon black) and antioxidant to sintered tabular alumina is the basic material of aluminum-carbon sliding nozzle, or adding appropriate amount of zirconia, graphite (or carbon black) and antioxidant to sintered tabular alumina The aluminum-zirconium-carbon sliding nozzle as the basic material is still the main body of domestic sliding nozzle materials.
2. Ladle castable
With the continuous development of refining technology outside the furnace, the operation conditions of refractory materials in ladles is becoming more and more harsh. Molten steel needs to stay in the ladle for a longer time for stirring, heating, and erosion of different steel slags. Single materials such as magnesium or aluminum for ladle linings have been replaced by composite materials. The aluminum-magnesium-spinel system castable with sintered tabular alumina and spinel as the main materials is used for the bottom or wall of the cladding, and the magnesia carbon brick is used for the slag line, which is the basic mode for the use of large and medium-sized ladle refractories at present.
3. Prefab refractory
Purging plugs , seat bricks, spray guns, impact plates, etc. are not only part of the ladle refractory lining, but also play a very important role in the steelmaking process itself. The combined use of sintered tabular alumina, spinel and other refractory raw materials can more effectively improve the thermodynamic properties of refractory materials, that is, improve wear resistance and erosion resistance.
