Refractory anchors refer to materials within the classification temperature range of 1050°C-1400°C.
The refractory anchor is the main part of the lining. Its function is to make the lining material firmly combined with the furnace wall. Different materials should be used under various refractory materials, different furnace body parts, different lining thicknesses and different temperature conditions. Specifications, different materials, and different types of anchors are connected and fixed, so that the inner lining will not crack and fall off under long-term high temperature, and ensure the integrity of the inner lining.
The monolithic refractory lining is supported by anchors and generally does not need to be supported by itself, so anchors are more important in the design. The design form of the anchor is related to the flexural strength of its material and the thickness of the lining. The current anchors are no longer the original single Y-shaped, but according to the different process locations and thermal equipment, anchors with various forms and materials have been developed and designed, and good results have been achieved.
There are many shapes of anchors, such as Y-shaped, V-shaped, T-shaped, S-shaped, etc. The shape of the metal anchors to be used should be determined according to the structure of the lining, such as the material (density) of the lining, the thickness, application temperature and use conditions (continuous work and intermittent work), etc. The arrangement of high-temperature-resistant anchors must be considered to have sufficient support strength and not cause long cracks in the refractory during thermal expansion and contraction.
