Dry ramming mass is also called ramming mix. There are wet ramming mass and dry ramming mass. Magnesite ramming mass is generally dry ramming mass

 

Types: Silica ramming mass, high alumina ramming mass, magnesia ramming mass and corundum spinel ramming mass are supplied. High purity raw materials are applied.

 

Application: furnace bottom for EBT furnace and direct current arc furnace;working lining of induction furnace; lining of tundish; Torpedo or transfer car

 

Installation method:Ramming or vibrating.

 

Monolithic refractories refers to unshaped refractories. It could be moulded or can be given any shape as per requirement.

 

Monolithics consists of graded refractory aggregates, binding agent, fillers & special additives for modification of properties

 

Aggregates of monolithic refractories generally include kaolin flint, high alumina bauxite, tabular alumina, white fused alumina, dense mullite, dead burnt magnesite etc. Aggregates are main contents of monolithic, they are mixed according to certain proportions in different particle size.

 

Binding agent are different for different monolithic refractory. For alumina castable, it's generally high alumina cement, water or Sodium silicate. For plastic refractory, Phosphate acid is generally applied. For magnesite ramming and gunning mass, Boric acid is widely used as binding agent.

 

By adopting the dry ramming mass, the material particles are made finer and more uniform, and after compression molding, it has high strength and high temperature resistance characteristics, and is widely used in high temperature industries, such as steel, glass, cement and other industries.

 

Dry ramming refractory mass have many characteristics and advantages that traditional refractory materials do not have. First of all, due to the way of dry ramming mass, the material particles can be made finer and more uniform, and the product density is higher, so it has higher strength and better durability.

 

In addition, dry ramming refractory mass have better high temperature resistance and slag corrosion resistance after compression molding. At the same time, its appearance is relatively exquisite, without defects such as burrs and holes, which can effectively improve efficiency and quality.
