AZS Brick

Fused bricks, also known as fused zirconia corundum bricks, are abbreviated as AZS, which are arranged in the order of their content according to the three chemical components of the Al2O3-ZrO2-SiO2 ternary system phase diagram. Al2O3 takes A, ZrO2 takes Z, and SiO2 Take S. For example, 33# fused-cast zirconium corundum brick, abbreviated as AZS-33#, and so on, the traditional models of fused zirconium corundum brick are 33#, 36#, 41#. The specific features are shown below.

Fused zirconia corundum brick AZS33#:

The dense microstructure of AZS33# zirconium corundum bricks makes the bricks have good resistance to glass liquid erosion, and it is not easy to produce stones or other defects in the glass kiln. It is the most widely used product in glass furnaces, and it is mainly suitable for the upper structure of the melting pool, the pool wall brick and paving brick of the working pool, and the forehearth, etc.

AZS33 is the most widely used product in the AZS series of melting and casting products,both in quantity and application ranges, and it has excellent performance in preventing contamination of molten glass. It is widely used in the pool wall, pool bottom, upper structure and feeding channel of glass furnace.

Fused zirconia corundum brick AZS36#:

In addition to having the same eutectic as AZS33# fused zirconia corundum brick, 36#AZS brick has more chain-like zirconia crystals and lower glass phase content, so the corrosion resistance performance of 36# fused zirconia corundum brick is further enhanced, so it is suitable for areas with faster flow rate or higher temperature of molten glass

AZS36 is a product with excellent performance in the AZS series of melting and casting products. It has high resistance to glass liquid erosion and low pollution. It is usually used in key parts such as the pool wall near the hot spot of the melting pool of the glass smelting furnace.

Fused zirconia corundum brick AZS41#:

AZS41# fused zirconia corundum bricks not only have eutectics of silica and alumina, but also contain more uniformly distributed zirconia crystals. Among the zirconia corundum brick systems, their corrosion resistance is the best. Therefore, AZS41# bricks are used for thr the key parts of the glass furnace to balance the service life of these parts with other parts.

AZS41 is the product with the best performance in the casting AZS series products. It has extremely high resistance to glass liquid erosion and high glass phase exudation temperature, and has extremely low pollution to molten glass. It is widely used in key parts such as the pool wall at the hot spot of the glass furnace, the corner of the feeding port, the liquid flow hole, the kiln ridge, the bubbling at the bottom of the pool, and the all-electric melting furnace.
