Gunning mass is also known as gunning mix. It's named under installation method. Spraying gun is applied during installation. Thickness of the material to the furnace side walls is generally over 5 mm.

Material: Use high purity Magnesite as main material, binding agent, water reducing agent etc. are added. For reheating furnace, high alumina gunning mass is applied with high alumina bauxite as raw material.

Application: Repairing for tundish working linings; repairing mass for oxygen converter, Electric Arc Furnace and refining furnaces; side walls of reheating furnace

Good resistance to metal penetration and attack by basic slag

Less rebound for gunning hot repair by pneumatic conveying material

High refractoriness, stable volume, abrasive resistance and high thermal conductivity
