High Alumina Cement Refractory

High alumina cement refractory is a refractory material, which is a powdery substance that is mixed and fired with high-purity clinker, alumina powder and other materials. High alumina cement has the characteristics of strong chemical stability, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and is a material widely used in high temperature industrial refractory materials.

The chemical composition of high-alumina cement refractory is mainly alumina (AL2O3), and the content is usually between 50% and 70%. This composition is characterized by extremely strong chemical stability, and the refractory material does not undergo chemical reactions at high temperatures. At the same time, high alumina cement has a low silicon content and will not precipitate silica (SiO2) at high temperatures, further ensuring its fire resistance.

High alumina cement refractory is a highly fire-resistant material and its heat resistance is much stronger than ordinary cement. The relationship between its high-temperature strength and temperature shows a trend of rising first and then falling, and the maximum operating temperature can reach over 1800°C. High alumina cement also has high wear resistance and can withstand large mechanical loads. In addition, due to its low silicon content, high alumina cement also exhibits good resistance to acid and alkali attack.

High alumina cement refractory has a wide range of main applications, including various refractory materials in high-temperature industries such as steel smelting, cement production, ceramic manufacturing, electric power, and petrochemicals. In the steel smelting industry, high alumina cement is mostly used for converter masonry and blast furnace lining; in the cement production industry, high alumina cement is an indispensable raw material in the preparation process of high-performance refractory materials; in the field of ceramic manufacturing, high alumina cement It is widely used to make alumina ceramic molds; in fields such as electric power and petrochemical industry, high alumina cement is also widely used to make important components such as refractory furnaces and pipelines.
