High Alumina Bauxite

Bauxite in the refractory industry usually refers to the bauxite with calcined Alumina more than 48% and low Ferrum content.

Refractory materials refer to inorganic non-metallic materials with refractoriness over 1580℃.

Refractory raw materials are raw materials used to produce refractory bricks and monolithic refractories.

The high bauxite clinker is the Calcined Bauxite. The clinker is gray, light yellow and dark gray. Bauxite clinker is classified according to the content of Alumina and impurities such as Ferrum, as well as the bulk density and water absorption of clinker.

The high alumina bauxite is made from hydrated alumina with little impurities. Calcined bauxite is got after mineral separation and calcined in rotary kilns. It is a kind of mineral with white or gray color.The density is about 3.45g/cm3, hardness is 1-3, opaque and brittle. High alumina bauxite is with very high refractoriness, it's insoluble in water, but soluble in sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solution. It is mainly used for high alumina refractories and also for making fused brown corundum.

General available grain size including 0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm, 16-30 mesh, 30-60 mesh, 120 mesh, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, or as customer's request.

General package is one ton jumbo bag, standard exporting package for sea transportation or air delivery, special packing requirement is acceptable.

For refractory products. The refractoriness of high bauxite clinker is as high as 1780 ℃, with strong chemical stability and good physical properties.

Types

According to Al₂O₃ content, there are medium Al₂O₃ bauxite and high alumina bauxite.
