Technical Parameters

Generally for thermal insulation, there are insulation bricks and refractory fiber insulation products. For refractory fiber insulation products, there are ceramic fiber products with classification temperature within 1430 ℃. High temp insulation board is for higher temperature insulation layer, with classification temperature reach to 1900 ℃. There are polycrystalline mullite fiber board (1600 ℃/1700℃) and polycrystalline alumina fiber board(1800 ℃/1900℃).

 

Polycrystalline Alumina fiber (PCF) is made by Sol-Gel method. It provides excellent resiliency and thermal stability at high temperature. Because of the high temperature capability and unique diameter distribution, PCF board provides excellent performance and safety advantages. It has excellent mechanical strength - including tensile strength, anti-peeling stress, and air force erosion resistance due to the strong structure created by an interlocking network of fibers.

 

The blown fiber (fiber is short, fine, easy to break and mix) is used as the raw material of ceramic fiber board, and a certain proportion of binder and filler grade additives are added, which are fully dispersed into slurry in the slurry mixing tank through the beater. Pump into the forming tank and stir with compressed air. The mold is put into the forming pool, and the fiber slurry is adsorbed on the mold by the principle of vacuuming. The adsorption time is precisely controlled,the wet fiber material is dehydrated by vacuum, demoulded, placed on the tray and sent to the drying furnace for 10-24 hours. After drying the fiberboard through the special grinding machine, cutting machine, precise control of size.

High Temp Insulation Board Application:

Bell furnace, Steel ladle, annealing furnace, reheating furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace, shuttle kiln, rolling kiln, sintering kilns etc. 

It is used as working lining to do insulation under high temperature, saving much energy, improving products quality, and developing working environment of workers etc.
